In the heart of Prague, the iconic lobby of the Almanac X Alcron Prague hotel saw the unveiling of a unique design installation in February 2026 – the pop-up collection of pink porcelain Dolores, created under the Křehký brand by designer Linda Pro in collaboration with the traditional Leander 1907 manufactory. This collection connects contemporary design with the rich tradition of Czech craftsmanship and is yet another testament to the hotel’s ongoing support for the local art and design scene.
“We strive to ensure our hotel is not just a place to stay but a vibrant cultural space where guests experience both aesthetic and inspirational value. Dolores beautifully embodies our philosophy of supporting local creators,” says hotel director Alena Spišiaková.
The Dolores collection pays tribute to an icon of Czech dining – pink porcelain – and the motif of the bow, which brings a playful and subtly ironic twist to classic forms. Linda Pro’s design follows up on her successful Coquette collection and includes an espresso cup with saucer, a cup for tea or cappuccino, a dessert plate, a serving tray, and a cake server. Each piece is crafted at the manufactory in Loučky near Karlovy Vary, where pink porcelain has been produced since 1907. Its color is part of the porcelain body itself – not merely a glaze – giving it depth and lasting quality.
Product designer Josef Tomšej set the collection into the atmosphere of a feminine boudoir, with an art deco touch and a nod to the Venus motif in the hotel’s fireplace relief. The installation plays with softness, delicacy, and a slightly dreamy aesthetic – pale blue stands, hand-carved linden wood, and cushions create a scene that invites pause and admiration.
The pop-up is open until 9 March 2026 and also offers a limited edition of Coquette espresso cups with a black bow motif and hand-painted black edging. The collection can be purchased directly at the hotel or via the Křehký e-shop, with a 14% discount on the limited edition espresso cups throughout February. Prices for the set range from 650 to 1,950 CZK.
Once again, Almanac X Alcron Prague confirms its role as an ambassador of design and culture in the heart of Prague – inviting all lovers of beauty to become part of this unique story.
