A Dialogue with Naples

Anthony Vaccarello unveils the new Saint Laurent boutique concept. In the historic heart of Naples, minimalism meets raw materials and timeless elegance.

Naples welcomes a new chapter in luxury. The French fashion house Saint Laurent, founded in 1961, has chosen the prestigious address of Via Dei Mille 20 for its first mono-brand boutique in the city—and its ninth in all of Italy. The two-storey space unveils a new design concept from Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello, who has been at the helm of the brand since 2016.

The interior is built upon a sophisticated dialogue between history and the present day. Raw, exposed plaster walls contrast with original stone, creating a dramatic yet harmonious backdrop for the latest men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, as well as handbags, shoes, and accessories. This deliberate juxtaposition of old and new is typical of the Saint Laurent aesthetic.

The architectural austerity is complemented by precisely selected materials and furnishings. A black resin staircase, cement resin floors, and luxurious details—such as a Blue Lumen marble table and niches lined with Brown Spider and Giallo Siena marble—contribute to the minimalist elegance. Saint Laurent boutiques are conceived as a physical embodiment of the brand’s DNA: a luxurious yet minimalist environment where every element contributes to an exclusive and immersive shopping experience. It is a space that perfectly reflects the timeless elegance and contemporary spirit of the brand, which masterfully fuses minimalism with sensuality.
