Ice Cube’s New Face

Chopard has unveiled the new Ice Cube Haute Joaillerie capsule collection. Its modern and linear design is a bold tribute to New York.

As New York Fashion Week drew to a close, the jewellery Maison Chopard presented the latest addition to its iconic line: the Ice Cube Haute Joaillerie capsule collection. The unveiling took place at an exclusive cocktail evening held on the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt, offering panoramic views of Manhattan, where guests included stars such as Emily Ratajkowski, Ashley Graham, and Winnie Harlow.

The original Ice Cube collection was introduced back in 1999 and was elevated to high jewellery in 2024. This latest version, however, pushes its boundaries even further. “We pushed [Ice Cube’s] language even further—into volume, movement, and expression,” said Chopard Co-President and Artistic Director, Caroline Scheufele. The result is a dazzling array of pieces designed to capture and reflect light, much like a skyscraper reflecting the sunset. “I wanted the pieces to feel wearable yet unexpected, like modern art for the body,” Scheufele added.

The jewellery is characterised by the sleek, linear, and resolutely modern style that is typical of the Ice Cube line. The choice of New York for the launch was deliberate. The city’s striking angles, mirrored skylines, and sharp style perfectly echo the architectural inspiration behind the Ice Cube design. The event was therefore not only a tribute to the city, but above all, a bold showcase of contemporary high jewellery.
