Bvlgari’s handbag collection for the Autumn/Winter 2025 season is a celebration of the brand’s identity as a Roman jeweller. Designed by Creative Director for Leather Goods and Accessories, Mary Katrantzou, it elevates the art of creating leather accessories to a new level thanks to a unique jeweller’s approach to design. The collection explores sophisticated techniques where the mastery of jewellers and leather craftsmen merge in perfect harmony, expanding the signature lines with versatile and modern shapes.
In celebration of the Year of the Snake, the iconic Serpenti line expands with the new Serpenti Cuore 1968 model. This heart-shaped bag is a modern metamorphosis of the timeless Serpenti Forever line. Its distinct silhouette is adorned with a metal handle in the shape of a seductive snake, inspired by a legendary Bvlgari watch from 1968. In addition to a version in fine calf leather, an ultra-glamorous Neige Pavé Crystals variant is also available, its suede body covered with almost 5,000 hand-applied crystals. The Serpentine family is also growing, now offering a complete selection of models for day and evening occasions, including the new elegant Serpentine Duette evening bag and the spacious Serpentine Day Duo tote.
Another key element of the collection is the Calla motif, inspired by the ancient mosaics of Rome’s Baths of Caracalla. This sensually curved signature returns in the form of a shimmering Calla Crystals pattern that enlivens iconic models, and also inspires the fascinating design of the Ginko clutch. References to the world of jewellery are also reflected in the arched shape of the Divas’ Dream Marquise bag, whose base is derived from the marquise gemstone cut, and in the precise metal details of the Bvlgari Tubogas clutch. The unmistakable Bvlgari style is thus, in every detail, a commitment to excellence and craftsmanship.
