L’Oréal Paris Shines Once Again at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

For the fourth consecutive year, the French beauty brand L’Oréal Paris returns as an official partner of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. From 3 to 11 July 2026, the brand will bring not only professional beauty services to the famous spa town but also a celebration of female empowerment, confidence and modern beauty.

Every summer, Karlovy Vary transforms into the centre of European cinema, fashion and social life. Alongside film premieres, international stars and the iconic red carpet, the world of beauty once again takes centre stage. Through its longstanding partnership with the festival, L’Oréal Paris reaffirms that beauty today is about far more than flawless make-up—it is a symbol of confidence, individuality and authenticity.

The Beauty Lounge Opens Its Doors Once Again

Located in the historic Old Pharmacy building beside the iconic Mill Colonnade, on the corner of the Windsor Hotel, the L’Oréal Paris Beauty Lounge will once again welcome festival visitors throughout the event, offering professional make-up, hairstyling and a range of beauty experiences.

This year’s edition introduces an exciting new addition: professional nail care, expanding the portfolio of services available to guests. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Beauty Lounge has become a destination where visitors can immerse themselves in both beauty inspiration and the unique atmosphere of the festival.

A Grand Opening with Aňa Geislerová

The festival programme officially began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Aňa Geislerová, the long-time L’Oréal Paris ambassador, who officially inaugurated the Beauty Lounge on 3 July.

For many years, the acclaimed actress has embodied the brand’s iconic philosophy, “Because You’re Worth It,” a message that continues to inspire women around the world.

“To associate my name with L’Oréal Paris means standing alongside women who are not afraid to stand up for themselves. It is a brand that is strong, accessible and inspiring. I’m proud to be part of a partnership that truly has meaning,” says Aňa Geislerová.

Her authenticity, charisma and remarkable career have made her one of the most influential figures on the Czech cultural scene.

Fashion, Beauty and the Red Carpet

One of this year’s highlights will be the L’Oréal Paris Beauty & Fashion Show, taking place on 9 July at 6:00 p.m. on the Mill Colonnade.

Inspired by the glamour of the red carpet, the show will combine the latest beauty trends with fashion and elegance, bringing the festival atmosphere closer to the public while demonstrating that everyone can experience a touch of cinematic glamour.

Beauty with a Purpose

Beyond beauty, L’Oréal Paris continues to champion important social causes. As part of this year’s festival programme, the brand will once again present its global Stand Up initiative, developed in partnership with the non-profit organisation Konsent.

The programme focuses on preventing street harassment and raising awareness about safe intervention and respectful public behaviour. The festival activation will take place on 4 July at the KVIFF.TV Park, with Aňa Geislerová participating in the event.

Initiatives like these demonstrate that the brand’s philosophy extends well beyond cosmetics, addressing issues that have genuine social impact.

Where Cinema Meets Beauty

Throughout the festival, L’Oréal Paris’ team of professional make-up artists and hairstylists will create bespoke looks for actresses, directors, influencers and festival guests.

Every hairstyle and every make-up look is designed to celebrate each woman’s individuality. Rather than transforming appearances, the goal is to enhance natural beauty and personal confidence.

This philosophy is what continues to distinguish L’Oréal Paris. Instead of following fleeting trends, the brand celebrates authenticity, self-confidence and the belief that true beauty always begins from within.

Once again, L’Oréal Paris is much more than an official partner of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival—it is an integral part of its atmosphere, where cinema, fashion, elegance and everyday inspiration come together.
