A place where paths cross. A platform full of farewells, anticipation, and quiet stories. It is precisely this atmosphere—a mix of euphoria and melancholy that is the essence of travel—that Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière has captured in the new Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 campaign. Following the March runway show at Paris’s Gare du Nord, the campaign, shot by Ethan James Green with brand ambassadors Emma Stone and Hoyeon, returns to the proverbial tracks.
At the center of the entire collection and campaign is the brand-new iconic handbag: the Express. Its name pays homage to the original name of the legendary Speedy bag from the 1930s, symbolizing the era when the expansion of transport brought new adventures to the world. But this isn’t about nostalgia—the Express is a thoroughly contemporary piece of luggage; sophisticated, practical, and perfectly feminine. Its timeless shape is enhanced by luxurious grained leather and velvet calfskin, while iconic house codes like Monogram canvas on the handles, a gold-tone lock, and a jacquard lining reference the brand’s rich history.
The bag was designed with an emphasis on versatility. Thanks to various handles and a detachable strap, it can be carried by hand, on the forearm, or over the shoulder. It’s available in three sizes and a palette of elegant shades, from classic black and mahogany to a striking two-tone version. The charm and adventurous nature of the campaign are perfectly embodied by its stars. Oscar-winner Emma Stone and the star of the phenomenal series Squid Game, Hoyeon, represent modern travelers who are constantly in motion but never lose their style.
