Soul of the Night

On the occasion of a grand triple anniversary, watch brand Czapek & Cie. and Revolution magazine have joined forces. The result is a 20-piece limited edition, the Antarctique Révélation Spectrum, which puts on a breathtaking light show in the dark inspired by the northern lights.

When two significant names in the watchmaking world unite, the result is always eagerly anticipated. In the case of the new Czapek × Revolution Antarctique Révélation Spectrum limited edition, however, the reason for celebration is threefold. The prestigious Revolution magazine is celebrating its 20th anniversary, while the Czapek brand commemorates 10 years since its modern revival and 180 years since its original founding in 1845. And such a momentous occasion calls for an exceptional timepiece.

The basis for this collaboration was the fully skeletonized Antarctique Révélation model, which is in itself a masterpiece of modern sport-chic elegance. The creators decided to take its design a step further and give it a completely new, hidden dimension. Their solution was a creative use of Super-LumiNova, applying it not only to the hands but to nearly all the visible bridges of the mechanical movement. The result is stunning. While in daylight, the watch appears as a discreet, architecturally pure piece of haute horlogerie, after dark, it transforms into a radiant spectacle. The white-glowing bridges, in contrast with the blue-glowing hands, create a dramatic visual effect that highlights the intricate beauty of the movement.

Beyond its unique visual concept, the watch retains all the attributes for which the Antarctique collection is so prized. The elegant 40.5mm steel case, with a slim profile of just 10.6mm, is complemented by an ergonomic bracelet with a sophisticated micro-adjustment system in the clasp, ensuring perfect comfort for daily wear. The watch also comes with an additional white rubber strap, and both can be swapped quickly and easily thanks to a quick-release system.

At the heart of the watch is the fully skeletonized in-house Caliber SXH7, with a platinum micro-rotor and a 60-hour power reserve. The absence of a traditional dial reveals the complex mechanics in all their glory, while time remains legible thanks to a discreet chapter ring with hour markers.

This exceptional edition, celebrating three major anniversaries, is strictly limited to just 20 pieces. Each piece is engraved with “Revolution Edition” and is available exclusively via the Revolution magazine website for CHF 42,000 (excl. VAT). It is more than just a watch; it is a collector’s artifact that carries a story, innovation, and light.
