The Highest Level of Gourmet

Perched atop the iconic building on Národní Street, Fly Vista writes a new chapter in Prague’s gastronomy, seamlessly blending haute cuisine and signature mixology with breathtaking views.

The sun slowly descends over Old Town’s rooftops, its rays painting long shadows across historic facades. Here, forty meters above the metropolis center, a quiet transformation from day to night unfolds. Guests settle at the marble bar, its elegant lines mirroring Prague Castle’s horizon. Another evening begins at Fly Vista, where culinary artistry mingles with live music and the city’s majestic panorama. It’s an experience that engages all the senses.

The rooftop restaurant and bar Fly Vista occupies the two highest floors of the former Máj department store on Národní Street. The main space is dominated by a thirty-six-meter white Italian marble bar — the longest of its kind in the Czech Republic. The interior balances between art deco elegance and modern design, while a series of tall windows along the northwest wall connects guests with the city below. The ninth floor reveals the true ace: Prague 1’s highest terrace, offering uninterrupted views in all directions.

On the Horizon of Excellence

Each hour gives the space a different face. Mornings belong to peaceful breakfasts overlooking awakening Prague. During the day, tables fill with business meetings, where visitors appreciate the discreet environment and professional service. Evenings bring the space to life with fine gastronomy and mixology. The kitchen is led by Chef Karel Caldr, whose menu builds on Mediterranean inspirations thoughtfully complemented by local cuisine elements. From garlic marinated prawns to roasted foie gras with caramelized apples to tagliatelle with black truffle and parmesan sauce — each dish is composed with emphasis on flavor harmony and visual presentation.

Behind the bar, alongside sophisticated variations of familiar cocktails, original signature creations emerge. While the signature drink Vista Rose combines vodka with rose liqueur and lemon, the earthier Pearcilin builds on whiskey with a pear twist, and Elevated Elegance plays with the contrast of gin, grapefruit and exotic pepper syrup. The champagne bar deserves special mention with over one hundred selections, including classic brands, prestigious vintage Dom Pérignon cuvées, and rare bottles like Louis Roederer Cristal. Everything is served precisely tempered, often in an ice bucket that ranks among Europe’s largest.

A Place That Never Sleeps

This attention to detail and the uniqueness of every moment permeates the entire Fly Vista concept. The establishment, together with the observation deck, crowns the nine-story Infinite Experience Prague complex that now occupies the entire Máj building. From dawn to dusk, the restaurant and rooftop bar offer a rare opportunity to observe Prague’s daily life from a bird’s eye view — and it is this versatility that makes Fly Vista a place capable of satisfying diverse wishes and occasions, from morning coffee to evening entertainment or social events. Not surprisingly, regardless of when you visit, reservations, especially for the terrace, are highly recommended.
