Luxury and perfume enthusiasts have a unique opportunity from April 17 to view a complete private collection of limited-edition crystal flacons from the prestigious French brand Lalique, which has never before been publicly exhibited in its entirety. On display will be an impressive collection of 31 women’s and 13 men’s crystal flacons, from the first one created in 1994 to the present day.
Limited editions from Lalique have extraordinary value – only 1,200 certified pieces are created each year, which immediately become sought-after items among collectors. This tradition was established by Marie-Claude Lalique, granddaughter of the brand’s founder, who in 1992 decided to continue the family heritage and draw inspiration from her grandfather’s legendary flacons. René Lalique, originally a designer of exclusive flacons for the world’s leading perfumers of his time, created more than 250 attractive designs since 1907 and is rightfully called the man who dressed perfume.
This unique exhibition is brought to the Czech Republic by FAnn, the only purely Czech network of perfumeries founded in 1991. FAnn, which today operates more than 40 perfumeries throughout the Czech Republic and a successful e-shop www.fann.cz, has also complemented the exhibition with contemporary flacons from other world brands such as Versace, Montblanc, Michael Kors, Ferragamo, and Lanvin.
The exhibition is part of the traditional flower exposition at Lysice Castle, which enters its 27th year this season. The castle gardeners have created dozens of unconventional arrangements inspired by the composition of perfumes, whose fragrant notes are composed primarily of floral tones. Visitors can thus admire not only artistic flacons but also masterful floral compositions that evoke their scents.
The exhibition titled Vůně jara aneb příběh parfémů (Spring Fragrance or the Story of Perfumes) will be accessible daily from April 17 to 27 and April 30, and in May from May 1 to 4 and May 7 to 11, 2025. On weekdays, it is open from 10 AM to 3 PM, and on weekends and holidays until 4 PM.
