Another chapter in jewelry history was written yesterday evening at the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art. Tiffany & Co. presented its anticipated Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder collection, a masterpiece of high jewelry that draws viewers into the fascinating world of ocean depths.

The collection, under the direction of Chief Artistic Director Nathalie Verdeille, embarks on a surrealistic journey inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s legendary ocean motifs. The pieces capture the ethereal beauty of the underwater world – from translucent gardens of sea plants to dramatic waves crashing against the shore.

“Each piece entices viewers to embark on a journey of captivating stories into unexplored ocean depths,” Verdeille revealed during the gala evening. “We remain true to the pioneering spirit of our jewelry house, and with this collection, we were inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s fascination with the sea, which led us to a new modern interpretation of archival designs.”

Among the most impressive pieces are a necklace set with Zambian emeralds, a sea turtle pendant with an ingenious hidden mechanism, and the breathtaking Wave necklace featuring bright blue Paraiba tourmalines with a total weight exceeding 17 carats. Tiffany’s craftsmen have once again confirmed their exceptional mastery, whether reviving the traditional Pailloné enamel technique or precisely capturing the geometry of a turtle’s shell through engraving techniques.

The exclusive launch of the collection attracted a star-studded guest list, who shined wearing Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Icons such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Alicia Keys, Gabrielle Union with Dwyane Wade, Adriana Lima, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley appeared on the blue carpet.
