One address for bathroom projects

Prague’s Karlín district has gained a new destination as of April 2026—one that gives bathroom architecture a clear, structured framework. At Pobřežní 46, the HUB IN BATH concept showroom has opened as a joint project by four strong brands in the field: HÜPPE, HANSGROHE/AXOR, KALDEWEI and RAKO. Spanning more than 300 m², it offers a professional platform that connects inspiration, design and concrete technical solutions into one coherent system. In a space that feels contemporary yet highly practical, the bathroom stops being perceived as a “separate room” and starts working as a thoughtfully integrated part of architecture—with clear links, parameters and long-term logic.

HUB IN BATH is primarily designed for professionals—architects, planners, developers, investors and other specialists working on bathrooms and sanitary spaces in private as well as public buildings. In practice, it means one thing: a place where projects can move forward faster, more precisely, and with confidence in the continuity between materials, technologies and real-life operation. At the same time, it is a space that inspires—less through effect, more through the quality of detail and the natural way individual elements come together into a functional whole.

A shared language: water, function and design

The unifying element of all four brands is water—the fundamental factor that determines comfort, safety and material longevity in the bathroom. Its physical properties, long-term impact on surfaces and operational demands shape technical solutions that must perform both aesthetically and practically—today and ten years from now. That is why the showroom is built on technical quality and long-lasting durability, while also treating the bathroom as a fully-fledged part of architecture. In an environment where high expectations for design, maintenance, sustainability and operating economics meet, a system-based approach feels like the most natural path.

The principle of collaboration itself matters, too: four brands, each with strong know-how in its segment, speak one language and translate it into concrete combinations within the showroom. For professional projects, this is essential—the bathroom is always decided in context. Material, surface, water, drainage, shower, bathtub, storage, safety, service, lifespan. HUB IN BATH presents these connections clearly and without unnecessary noise.

The showroom presents a comprehensive range of bathroom solutions:
  • RAKO ceramic wall and floor tiles,
  • HANSGROHE faucets, showers, sanitary ceramics, mirrors and furniture,
  • HÜPPE shower enclosures and screens,
  • KALDEWEI bathtubs and sanitary equipment.
The selection clearly reflects today’s understanding of the bathroom—both for private interiors and for hotels, office buildings, hospitals, wellness operations or pool complexes. In these types of projects, coordination across disciplines and a well-considered material composition that stands the test of time are key. Having everything in one place makes it possible to compare, combine and decide with greater confidence—not only based on appearance, but also on technical parameters and real operational performance.
The scale of the space is a major advantage. More than 300 m² makes it possible to present the bathroom in a broader context, show different typologies and work with atmosphere. You can sense the showroom’s ambition to be a working tool, not just a display. For architects and planners, it is a difference you notice within minutes.

A consulting hub with the ambition to stay alive

HUB IN BATH is not only about products on display. The consulting dimension plays a key role—the opportunity to address specific briefs, technical details and material combinations directly with experts. The space is conceived as an advisory and consultation center for the design of private and public buildings. In practice, that means everything can be addressed here—from first sketches and inspiration to specific compositions, connections and operational specifics.

The concept also includes planned lectures, discussions and meetings with architects, designers, collection authors and design students. Step by step, the showroom is creating an open platform for inspiration, education and professional dialogue. This kind of “liveliness” feels natural for Karlín and the Rohanské riverfront—an area in development benefits from places like this: professional, contemporary and built on a clear vision.

Highlights worth noting

Among the standout pieces presented at HUB IN BATH are KALDEWEI’s freestanding bathtubs from the MEISTERSTÜCK range—architecturally pure, monolithic forms made of enamelled steel, known for exceptional durability, long service life and 100% recyclability. The ZEN edition with the NUIO DUO model also draws attention, combining a sculptural shape with ergonomic comfort and experiential functions such as infrared heat, music and lighting scenes. KALDEWEI has long built on its Luxstainability® philosophy, connecting luxury with a responsible approach to materials and production—exactly the kind of value that makes sense in today’s projects.

RAKO demonstrates how ceramics can work as an architectural tool—from the CASTONE series with its innovative blend of concrete expression and terrazzo elements, through the author collection LINKA by renowned Czech designer Maxim Velčovský, to the CORE series inspired by split slate. The FLY series with its subtly structured surface and the COMPILA modular system—treating wall tiles as a compositional element—also stand out. All of these collections share one thing: they feel contemporary, remain timeless, and provide a solid foundation for projects.

HANSGROHE brings solutions that combine design with water savings—such as the Avalegra AquaUnit, where basin and faucet form one unit with an integrated shower spray and a choice of two modes; or the Activera hand shower with two spray types and FlexPower and WaterBoost technologies for high performance at low consumption. In the luxury segment, AXOR ShowerSphere by Antonio Citterio stands out with Rain and PowderRain modes, as does the expanded AXOR One collection by Barber Osgerby, broadening options for basins, bathtubs and showers. It is exactly the kind of design that feels calm, clean and highly precise.

HÜPPE completes the concept with precisely crafted shower screens and smart details: Sphere pure combines a walk-in solution with practical shelves and storage, optional LED lighting and a wide range of finishes. A practical chapter is the EasyStyle panel system, enabling renovation in a short time and without demanding construction work—ideal for bathroom upgrades in apartments, hotels and commercial spaces. In projects where time, cleanliness of execution and a no-compromise result matter, it is a strong argument.
The showroom opening was accompanied by a great atmosphere and strong interest from the media and the professional public. The entire concept at Rohan feels thoughtful, contemporary and highly professional—and it is a pleasure to see a place like this open with a clear ambition: to be a partner for real projects, not just a nice address.

HUB IN BATH offers an environment where the bathroom is approached as a whole—with respect for architecture, technology and everyday operation. And it is also a space you will want to return to: for inspiration, for consultation, for concrete decisions.
